Ascension: A Heartfelt Farewell to Grade 10

The Grade 10 farewell at PTV (ICSE) was celebrated with great enthusiasm and emotion, marking a memorable occasion for the outgoing students. The theme of the event, Ascension, beautifully symbolised the students’ journey towards new beginnings and greater heights.

The programme commenced with a warm and gracious welcome by the Grade 9 students, setting a cheerful and respectful tone for the event. The Principal, Dr (Mrs) Arnavaz Bhagat, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to remain determined and confident as they step into a new phase of their lives. She emphasised the importance of hard work, discipline, and strong values, while also appreciating the studentsfor their valuable contributions to the school.

One of the highlights of the event was the personality contest conducted to select the titles of Master and Miss PTV. The participants displayed remarkable confidence, eloquence, and talent as they showcased their abilities and responded thoughtfully to the questions posed to them.

The cultural segment featured melodious songs and vibrant dance performances, adding colour and energy to the celebration. Fun-filled games were also organised, fostering laughter and strengthening the bond among students.

The Vice Principal, Mrs Geena Mathew, addressed the gathering and reflected on the students’ memorable journey at the school. She emphasised the importance of integrity, resilience, and lifelong learning. An emotional touch was added by a heartfelt speech from Saachi Soumitra (Grade 10), who shared cherished memories, expressed gratitude to the teachers, and fondly reminisced about her school experiences.

As a token of love and appreciation, mementos were presented to the outgoing students by the Principal. The farewell concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with heartfelt emotions as they celebrated the past and extended their best wishes for the students’ bright and promising future.
