Positive for Thane Home buyers

In 2020, when Jitu Bhai Mehta was serving as President of CREDAIMCHI Thane and I was the Secretary of Thane Estate Agents Association, an idea took shape—to organise a fullday seminar for estate agents across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The single-minded focus: create something positive for home seekers, a platform
where real estate developers and real estate consultants could come together, and add to the knowledge takeaway of home seekers visiting the CREDAI MCHI Thane Property Expo.

The objective was clear: to fully utilise the infrastructure created for the property expo and position Thane as a vibrant and opportunity-rich market for channel partners across the region, in turn helping the outreach to a larger number of home seekers innot just Thane, but across the MMR.

The event saw an impressive turnout of around 350 attendees, who remained engaged from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.—a testament to both the relevance of the content and the quality of the experience. Thoughtful hospitality, including excellent food arrangements, played its part well—after all, the route to the heart often goes through the stomach.

The seminar featured sessions on key growth drivers such as social media marketing, scaling real estate businesses, and international real estate broking. These were delivered by experts of national and international repute, bringing diverse perspectives to the audience.

The event also attracted leadership from NAR-INDIA and received goodwill messages from associations across India and even international markets like the USA, Dubai, and France.

At its core, the initiative aimed to help agents move beyond their micromarkets and embrace the larger canvas of opportunities—fostering growth through networking, insights, and an expanded vision of the business.

As I recall, this was not just a platform created for real estate growth – it was not just expanding horizons, but also a landmark seminar for Thane’s real estate. And yes, the event added to the knowledge takeaway of home seekers visiting the CREDAI MCHI Thane Property Expo.
